At a special meeting of the Club Executive last night it was formally announced that Johnny Flynn had stepped down as the Chairman of the Club. 
In a formal letter of resignation, which was read out to the Executive Members Johnny outlined his reason for stepping down.
 The resignation was accepted by the interim Chairperson, Liz McHale. Liz paid tribute to Johnny for the work he did in his tenure as Chairman and wished him well in the future.
Work will now begin to fill the vacancy and Liz McHale, Asst. Chairperson, assumes the role of Interim Chairperson.
